bleeding brakes on a 73

I just replaced the rear calipers (remanufactured), pads, and rotors on my 73 Corvette. I followed Chilton's manual bleeding order (left inner, left outer, right inner, right outer). The left bleed ok and the inner right bleed after a while but I could not get any fluid out of the right outer bleeder valve. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sometimes one of the hoses rusts shut. I just had a similar problem with a single rummer hose rusting to where it would allow fluid to pass through but would not release the pressure. Check the hoses.

RE: bleeding brakes on a 73

I figured this out after many hours of trying to bleed these brake. I figured I would post the solution in case anyone else has the same problem and reads this.
The right rear outer bleeder on the remanufactured caliper was clogged. It had some sort of silcone blocking the passage on the inside. I assume this came front the remanufacturing process. I simply stuck a very small screw driver in there and opened the passage and cleaned it out. Once I did this the fluid immediately started flowing and bleeding it was very easy. I hope this helps someone.
