C3 chassis differences?
 
Hello Guys needs some advice here I am currently restoring a 72 roadster.. I just found out my Chassis is not restorable What yrs of the C3 will fit my car?

There is a big difference in the rear frame section starting in 75. 73 and earlier frames didn't have any crash protection in the rear. 74 frames were like chrome bumper frames but they had plates welded to the back of the frame for the first iteration of crash bumpers. 75 and up had frames that were different from around the top of the rear wheel arch back. 75+ frames are not interchangeable with earlier frames and vice versa. There are differences in the front frame holes between 72 and 73 also.

Thanks for the info.. I decided to go completely custom and have a chassis made for my application installing LS3 engine and T56 6 speed .Found a fabricator here in SC that will make it for me.. Best regards
