ESC on 82 Collector Edition
I broke my ESC off the block while changing my starter. There doesn’t seem to be a replacement available that I can find. It’s a single lead back to ECM. Anyone know what I can sub out for this? Also if it a 2 lead ESC can I just ground it at the starter? Thx Mike

Welcome to the forum.
If you could check the schematic in a factory service manual, you might be able to tell if the two lead version would work with the ground at the block.
Have you checked all the aftermarket suppliers such as Wilcox and Zip?

Thank you 73shark for your response. I have the service manual and have reviewed the wiring diagram again, ( not my strong suit) after your post. It looks like the single wire has a shielded ground that splits at the ESC module to its own terminal.
The ESC sensor seems to be unavailable from any of the usual suspects, Eckler, ZIP, etc. But I read last night that the 84 corvette used the same crossfire 350 engine as the 82 CE. If that is correct, I can try to find the sensor for the 84.
So so if I can figure out why it’s not getting fuel intermittently, find a sensor, get the old one out of the block (it twisted off), and get it wired correctly I can get this baby back on the road.
