Wiper pulse delay broken again -ideas?

The wiper pulse delay control assembly on my '79 has failed again. The part is either not available or cost prohibitive ($250.00)to replace. I was thinking I might be able to wireup this generic unit from JC Whitney in its place. Any ideas?

Thanks for your feedback!

i dont think thats what his looking for. its the control module, it mounts under the shift plate in front of the shifter. on my 79 it seems to have been removed and bypassed. not sure how but the switchhas a inter. wiper setting.

That looks like the relay that is mounted externally on the pulse/delay control, maybe that is all that is wrong with it?

Thanks for the suggestion!

Update - I have ordered this relay in hopes that it will cure my wiper troubles.
Thanks watwheel! I did not know that this part was available.
