1984 taillights

Im getting my 84 painted ,the painter called me today and told me he needed me to get three taillight lenses. My question is are the lenses sold seperately or do I have to buy the whole assembly?

Thanks again -TATTOO

Good clean used is the way to go. New ones from Ecklers are about $90.00 each [:o]. I bought a good set from a Corvette salvage yard for my 86.

If I have to replace the whole taillight ,what do you guys think about the LED lights?

I was thinkin' several years ago of LED's out back of my '87, but the only ones I ever saw had too few elements in each light - kinda' like two bulbs top row, three bulbs middle row, two bulbs bottom row.

Someone probably makes one with more elements in each light nowadays. Even if not, check heavy truck parts manufacturers. I see cool LED's on them that would probably fit the c4 holes...

Try this out:

Or, just Google LED tailights for corvettes:D

Just a thought[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
