1985 with odd problem

Hello everyone,
today after a 20 min ride my car started running like crap and making noise, so i investigated and found 3 rocker arms were so loose that they came off of the valves and the pushrods. it seems to me that those 3 rocker arm studs are higher than all the others, i put them back on to see if they would tighten but they won't. does this mean i need a new head? or is there a fix for rocker arm studs? any help is appreciated.
thanks, Eric[/align]

You can get thread in rocker studs at summit or a local engine machine shop. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku
Sounds like that engine has been over reved a few too many times

^^^ agreed, theres a temp. fix and a real fix the one thats going to cost less in the end is a motor swap/rebuild, in my opinion you need to get a spare engine just like your rebuild it have it on the side and when that one goes swap it on a weekend when your ready
