1990 C-4 engine surge

Help!!! I own a 90 vette that surges and starts missingwhen engine warms up.I have had it in 4 different auto repair shops and no one can figure out what is wrong with it.They have replaced egr valve, egr solenoid, fuel injectors, ecm, etc. It surges whether in park or in drive. When car is first started in morning ,it runs smooth.Ineed help.

You've probably already had it checked but I'll ask anyway. Have you had the timing and fuel pressure checked?A vacuum leak is a possibility. Sounds like it starts acting up after it enters closed loop. Does the "Check Engine" light come on, have you checked for any codes?

What's up there Rodney... I think he's got the vacuum leak.

Does it run smooth at speed?

RE: 1990 C-4 engine surge

Looks like my problem is solved. Someone in forum had same problem as I did . I had my injectors checked again and all but one was reading under 2 ohms. They should read between 14 and 16 ohms.Thecoilswere shorted out in 7 of them. Changed them out and car is running great.I don't know what caused them to short out at the same time.4 other auto shops couldn't even figure out what was wrong with it. Engine light still comes on when driving at a steady speed of 65 mph but I had it inspected today (emissions required in Texas) and it passed. Can anyone explain this?
