85 rear side lights

Are they suppost to flash? They light up like marker lights but don't flash with the front ones. The tail lights are blinking when they are suppost to and no bulbs are blown. So i was wondering if they are even suppost to flash.

no one knows if their rear side lights blink when they put their turn signal on?
