87 corvette zr1 will start then idle rough and die
 

Hello, I have a 1987 zr1 all stock as far as I can tell. I have gone through this car replacing just about everything with new parts. My problem is when I first start the car, whether cold or hot it will either idle very rough and when I put it in gear will then die or just die while trying to start. It almost feels like it's starving for gas as sometimes it pops back through the TPI. As stated earlier it has brand new stock injectors, maf (not a cheap one but delco). I have taken it to a mechanic I know and he says it could be a lot of things. I'm really stumped and frustrated. Any suggestions out there, I really need help. Thank You and "GOD" Bless all.

I'm guessing you have your issues fixed but sounds like a fuel filter problem. It could have jumped time but check the fuel filter.
