95 climate control button problems
All of the climate control buttons on the left-of-center side of the Heat and A/C controls are not working, i.e. Auto button, recirculate etc., only the Temp 'up' side of the rocker button is working, but the vent controls on the right side i.e., floor, dash vent, defrost are working fine. I just purchased the car with 28,000 miles on it and the controls did work a few times, but I can't get the ones on the left side of the controls to work at all now. Anyone have any idea what the fix would be?

Not familiar with how those controls work but it sounds like if they are electrically actuated, that it could be a connector has either come loose or has some corrosion problems.

Sorry for the late reply but if you're still having an issue I would take the head unit out and apart. Clean the tact switches behind the control buttons. That will probably cure you're problem. The contact pads on the PCB get dirty over the years and can be cleaned with a Q-tip and some isopropyl alcohol. Same with the carbon dots in the rubber membrane. .

Sounds like a good plan. I've tried that successfully on TV remotes.
