aftermarket intakes
 
anyone try any aftermarket intake? are they worth the money?i probley should but a newer more horespower vette but i relly enjoy my 85 c4. what will wake her up seems like she has sooo much more in her.

K&N air filter and aftermarket pipes come to mind....ie, Borla, Corsa, etc...

I've been thinking about throttle bodies too....

(Always gotta be thinkin' bout it) :):D;)

me too i have a k&n
and a borla exaust but faster is better so im looking for the next step

On a TPI set up, your limited unless you want to go hot cam. The TPI needs porting and a whole host of items to really give it a kick.

Best bang for the buck is going to be to spray that puppy with a dose of the laughing gas and call it a day. You can go big bucks with forced induction.

let me edumacate you:DNO2 just speed up the comustion process by adding more o2 and an oxidizer to your combustion chamber, so it is safe in small doses but if your looking for a bigger hit than 50HP your going to need to retard the timing to compinsate for the hotter more lean mixture you going to be running.
simple answer: it will not blow anything up if used correctly it is very safe and makes a LOT more power for cheap :D
