Sounds like you have something slowly draining your battery. After you get a jump disconnect the battery while the car is running. It should stay running and all your lights will work. If it doesn't you have a bad alternator. If you can't get a jump take the battery out and the nearest auto parts store will charge it for free. Hope this helps!:)

Oh no, don't EVER disconnect a battery while car is running on a computer controlled car!! You can create a voltage spike that could damage your computer. That is one of the first things you learn while working on a computer car. You need to take it to a competent shop that can load check your alternator properly and check for a battery drain.

first, measure the resistance between the post on the alternator and the positive battery terminal. you should see a small amount of resistance. if its open, or a lot of resistance, than you have blown the fuse.

next, measure the volts of your battery to make sure that your battery is infact discharged. try to jump your start car. you can find some jumper cables with narrow clips, clip one to the positive terminal, and if you cant get the negative terminal, just find a really good ground on your car. once your car is started, you can look at the volts on the dash or measure them yourself, they should be above 13.

oh, and i should have said this first: i find it strange that the interior lights wouldnt even come on, so make sure all connections are good, including the ground underneath the car. I had my car stall on my while driving because the positive cable was just ever so slightly loose.

if your alternator is overloaded from all of those accessories, it will dramatically shorten the life of it. do you really need an xbox and a vcr in your vette??? i would get rid of those. if they are not switched, then they could definately be causing a drain on your battery.
