Crossfire problems, need a crossfire guru

Hello everyone I am a new Corvette owner. Got a cheap 84 and am in the process of bringing it back to life. Long story short the car did not run when I got it and was in pretty rough shape. I have replaced many things including the fuel tank, fuel pump/sending unit assembly, fuel filter, injectors, battery, ECM, and plug wires. After all that it now runs. At first it ran very rough, low idle. Went through the vacuum lines and found a few going to the wrong place. Fixed the vacuum lines and it ran a lot better for about 1 minute then died. After doing some more research decided to change out the coolant temp sensor. I also had an extra used throttle position sensor that I put in the same time I did the coolant temp sensor. Now the car idles extremely high. So high that I'm afraid to let it run more than 2 seconds. It sounds like it's running away. Tried putting the old TPS back in but didn't change anything, still idling wayy too high. Also the 2 wires coming off the coolant temp sensor were hacked up when I got it, so when I put the new one on, I wasn't sure how to wire those 2 wires. Both wires coming off the pigtail are black. The 2 they connect to, 1 is black, 1 is yellow. I apologize for such a long post but I wanted to be as thorough as I could. Any help is appreciated thank you!

Welcome to the forum.

Wished I could help but maybe someone here can chime in with some ideas.
