David C Hill award

I purchased a 1993 40th anniversary Corvette with the anniversary package, convertible, 6 speed. It won regional and national top flight and a performance Verification and a David C Hill award. I looked up the Hill award and showed that only 38 cars have on this award. Is that significant?

I would say that it's fairly significant but it probably depends on what the award was for.

Third Chief Engineer for Corvette, retired in 2006. Started with Cadillac, I think. If you google him with Cadillac, I think his story will come up.

I know who Dave Hill is. The point I was trying to make is what is the award for. In other words what is special about those particular cars.

The award was for Mark of Excellence.
