Default Discolored Rocker Covers

Hi all,
I am new to this so accept my appologies if i am doinganything terribly wrong.
I have a 89 vette and had the engine detailed last week. Now the rocker covers look more of a bronze color that the silver they were. Has anyone had a similar experence? Does anyone know why this has happened?
Thanks.

Were they sprayed with some sort of clearcoat? If so, they didn't use the right treatment that is heat resistant. [8D]

Most turn bronze over time from mainly heat but never that quick.

Thanks, i think the detailer used a degreaser and high water pressure and either the degreaser took off the finish, or the water pressure did. Bottom line is they will have to come off and be painted. The fact that they were painted in the first place makes it a bit easier to take.
