hazylight covers

The plastic lens covers on my fog lights are hazy. Also some of the other light covers as well.Is there something I can use to clear them up?

Sounds like you may have condensation on the iside of the covers. Take one off and check that. You may have to replace the gaskets.

If there's no moisture in the headlight and its just a hazy lens, you can buff it out using Meguiar's PlastX. It restores your lens clarity. Takes some elbow grease but I highly recommend it.

You can also use toothpaste. This was just posted in another forum. Haven't tried it myself.

I've heard of people using that. I hear it works pretty well because its a mild abrassive and wont scratch the lens

Brasso you can get it at grocery stores cheap and it lasts along time on the back of the can it says it works on plastic watch crystals.I have even used it on the clear plastic on my insturment panel to remove small scratchs it works great.
