Headlight problem

Just wondering how much money for headlight motor kit? Also, where it is located and if hard to install? I just bought a '89 vette and love it except each headlights seems like they are taking turns not flipping all the way open. I can open hood and they open fine. I don't know if it is the motor or what else it could be. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
Mike

Here is the link for the ones at Eckler's: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...p;dept_id=1158

It may just be the gears are stripped. If its just that, don't get the plastic ones - get these: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...p;dept_id=1158

This sounds stupid, but I had the same problem with my headlights flipping open when the hood was open and one wasn't when closed. It was a plug or wiring that was in the way of the one that wouldn't open. I moved it over and that solved it.

One of my magazines with the how-to's suggested using the plastic gears, instead of the bronze gears, and said strain on the motor was the reason...
