injector issues

my 1985 vette was stalling when i pressed the gas so i thought tune up replaced distributor cap, rotor, wires, and bocsh platinum+ plugs. when i pulled the old plugs, all eight were fouled black, and were wet with fuel, and sort of back firing. what could be causing this fuel dump to all eight plugs, also the car didn't improve much after the tune up due to the gas being dumped on the plugs........thanx for any info

RE: injector issues

well i just went through this with a 94 C4. it was doing almost the same as yours..turned out to be a coolant temperature sensor.

RE: injector issues

Need to pull codes and see, could be lots of things, MAF, coolant sensor, O2 sensor, fuel pressure regulator. ANy of those could cause overfueling rich condition.
