Need some advice on buying a vette

I own a 1984 red vette but ever since i gotten it i have wanted to upgrade. A couple of days ago i ran across a 1995 Black vette with Black leather interior and black zr1 rims (this is not a ZR1). It has a slight scrape about 2inches wid and 6inches long on the front right hand side.It has a 143,000 miles but has a brand new tranny and starter as well as new slote roters. The drivers side has a slight tear but is no big deal. it has many new interior peces and was female owned. They are asking $ 7500 for it what do you guys think i should do. it also has a glass top (its a coupe) thanx

Check all the underhood parts. Leaks, smells, stains, abrasions, ect. Check carfax. Make sure what you KNOW is wrong is repairable and you know you can have it done. Check all power windows, locks, headlights, digidash, stereo cd player tape player, brake lights, hoeses, belts, ect. I would offer 7000 straight up and I bet they will take it. Im sure they want it gone. Also tires, squeaks, ect. Good luck.

No. No. No.

That is depending on the mileage, gasketing, weather stripping, cockpit condition, engine compartment condition, under body conditioning, rust (yes, Vette's do rust), modifications and/or upgrades (if any);)

I got my '87 work-in-progress for $5,700. Check out the picks! At that date I had only put a new Corsa Racing exhaust system on her.[8D]

I really and trully believe you can get a much better deal.

Make SURE you get a CARFAX report as black86 said. The BEST money spent. Most "eye pleasing" items are easy enough to take care of. The MOST important thing is that she is mechanically sound (i.e. CARFAX, good mechanic).

Best of luck to you!

When you find YOUR baby you'll know it and fall in love!:) I know I did[sm=happybounce.gif]
