Need a Steering Column.
 

Hello guys. I am searching for a steering column. Looks like a theft recovery, where they busted the collar and pulled back the lever to start it. Car is a 90 model, and Im also wondering what Im up against when I find the part. I think I remember there being some kind of security device on the key, but its been 30 years since I worked on these when they were new.
I usually get used parts from wrecking yards, using Car-Part.com as my search engine. But this part is hard to find! Any suggestions? I am in NC, about an hour South of Raleigh...

Check with Contemporary Corvettes and I believe they're in Pennsylvania. Not sure how much different the C4 steering column is than the C3 but a service manual is probably in order.

I found a place in Florida I don't know the name of it in regards to steering column for my 90 Corvette that was loose they told me that to rebuild mine they could rebuild it for $800 approximately I would have to take it out and ship it to them but I do not remember the name of the place if that's any help good luck
