Putting OEM 2000 corvette rims on 96 C4?

I own a 96 C4 LT-1 corvette with 17" sawblade rims front and rear. I recently found a great deal on ebay for a nice set of five spoke OEM rims that came off a 2000 corvette, which has 18"rimsin the rear. Other than having to buy two newrear tires to fit, would there be any other conflicts with the suspension or brakes in making the conversion. Thanks, Michael...

I have the same wheels on my 1990 and there are no issues at all. Just will need to buy two rear tires. In order to keep your speed odometer correct you will need to stick is a 275/35 18 or 285/35 18. I currnetly have the 285s on mine and the speed odometer was only 1 mph slow at 70 mph, almost correct. Everyone that has seen my car said it looked great! By the way you will not need any spacers, but the rear tires will set in about a quarter inch compared to the ones on your car now. That is why I choose to go with the wider tire, it kept things looking correct.

Happy belated birthday & Turkey Day...
Its a matter of opinion but, I'm just not a big fan of the saw blade rims, even while there is a perfect set on my 96 lt1. I'd definatley perfer to see a five spoke set on the car. It's been running like a champ almost every day. Maybee 1 & 1/2 to 2 revolutions, and she's fires right up, even on cold mornings (the cold start sensor is doing its job).. I never did buy those wheels though. And the guy only wanted $260 for a nice set of 2000 OEM's. I'm stilllooking. I just came across a set of 08 OEMsplit, 5 spoke corvette rimson ebay for $700, however they have 19's on the rear, and 18's on the front. Would there be any conflict with putting those on a 96 LT-1?
