rear hatch defroster
 

Hopefully someone knows this off the top of there mind, so here goes, the rear hatch defroster has two rear defrost connectors but only the passenger side strut has a terminal to which the defroster is connected, the drivers side strut does not have upper teminal to connect to, so the driver side defroster connector is just dangling(about 3 inches) . The car has never been kept outside so no need to use the defroster, and i have not checked to see if the defrostor functions yet, so i thought i would ask around -is the driver side strut correct, should it have a terminal and should the defrost connector be connected to the strut as well as the passenger side. Thanks in advance for the input
