Service Manual Question
I am looking to purchase service manuals for my 1992, I am new to Corvette, and in looking at the service manuals i see that some have a white cover (single book) and others have red covers and are two volumes, but both are titled Service Manuals. Can ayone tell me the difference in the two styles of books? I want the ones that cover ever aspect of the car.

RE: Service Manual Question
Hi lilred The 2 book service manual that is red is probably what you want and is sometimes referred to as a helm manual. The Helm web sight sells these for $85.00 but check e-bay first if you use them. They are usually on there. This is what I use and they are excellent. The white one could be anything or could be the preliminary to the 2 book set.
hope this helps some |
RE: Service Manual Question
I don't think Helm has them with the red covers anymore. I have a 92 also and bought mine a couple of years ago from Helm for over $100. I think the white covers is all you can get now. If your wanting the total package just make sure you get both books.
The website is www.helminc.com |
