Temperature Gauge Not Working
Day before yesterday I noticed the engine temp. gauge not working. Stuck on zero. All other gauges working fine. ???? Just had engine tuned up, wiring harness, etc. and wondering if mechanic could have accidently knocked sending unit to gauge wire loose or what? Fuse? Any ideas? Thanx.

RE: Temperature Gauge Not Working
Temperature gauge sending unit is on the cylinder head near the spark plugs, it might have been disconnected. On my 92 it is on the right side between the 2 rear spark plugs, but on some engines it is on the left side between the two front spark plugs.

Whew!!!! That was the problem. The sending unit got knocked loose during tune-up. It was
on right side near rear 2 plugs...... Thanks for info.:):D;) |
RE: Temperature Gauge Not Working
Yep, my broke also. The plastic connecter seems to break rather easy. I see they sell them at Ecklers for $4.99 each if it is still coming loose.

RE: Temperature Gauge Not Working
The wires are missing from mine. Any one know where to find the source of these wires?
