What is the widest rear tire you can put on a 92 vette with ZR-1 Wheels?
 

Right now i have 275/40/17 in the back, but I would like to go wider. How wide can I go without having any rubbing issues? Thanks

what size rims are you running, how wide, stock or aftermarket. i have a 9.1/2 wide rim and i can only go 275-40-17.to go wider i need a 10 or 11 inch wide rim,

you can go with a 305X35X17 if you have the 11" rim

Since you have a '92,may I suggest going for the ZR1 or Grand Sport wheels,like I have on my '96.It's an 11 inch rim.I have 275's in the front and 315's in the rear with no problems.They do stick out just a tad,but I think it makes the car look more aggresive,especially in Polo Green Metallic with the black wheels and tinted glass.
