Error messages in Driver Information Center

My '99 Vette is now posting error messages to the Driver Info Center screen, such as: Check ABS, Check active handling, Check suspension, low cooland, low tire pressure(s).
Any ideas or suggestions ? (I'd read that sometimes a bad throttle body can cause this, but don't know enough about these things.)
Thanks

How old is your battery? Even if it is not more than a few years old, I'd still get it load-tested. A weak or failing battery can produce all kinds of failure messages.

If the battery checks out okay, pull the codes and post them up.

Error messages.

Thanks Dave, I'll give that a try. (By the way, my batt's probably 2 - 3 yrs old.)

Chris,

If a battery is a bit weak for any of a number of reasons, this is the time of year when it will send "signals". Lexus RX400hs display a message suggesting that the gear shift lever is not in the "Park" position when the battery is getting weak. Older cars will sometimes show ocsillating analog gauge needles when a battery is fading. Similarly, many of the C5's electronic sensors depend upon a healthy battery.

Dave
