Line-Loc
 

I was wanting to get roll control (line-loc) for my 2000 C5 with a manual transmission.My friends disagree with me doing this but I find it much easier to heat the tires up in the burn out box with line-loc. Plus my old car had it and I loved it. I was wondering if anyone else has done this to their Vette and is there a certain brand that I shouldbuy? Will I have any side affects (ABS, Traction control, etc...) with doing so? Thanks for your help.

I don't think the bradmatters. GEt it if you like it. I don't have it on the 'vette but do on the Camaro. Really more a function of what the car's fundamental purpose is, IMO. Drag cars should have it. Street cars don't need it.

I originally wanted linelocks for my c5. I honestly would not suggest it though because you don't need them... learn how to do burnouts without linelocks; basically, first put ur car in competitive mode, then rev up to about 4-5000 rpm, dump the clutch and quickly move your left foot and relatively lightly put it on the brake pedal. It will do the same thing as line locks and as long as u keep ur burnout to about 5sec or under, its like braking 60-0, u do that everytime u drive it probably. (credit RANGER). Hope that helps, and ur car wont move far at all if u do it right. I figured it out first time i tried at the drag strip.
