A question about high flow air duct installation
Hi guys,
am on westcoastcorvettes.com website and i want to order an air duct for my 1998 corvette the thing is i installed Z06 manifold "same one 2001-2004 C5 have already as a stock part" the question is, in the website it says: you want the highflow air duct for 1997-2000 C5 or 2001-2004 C5?? which one i chose? coz i have changed my stock 1998 manifold to the one that is on 2001-2004 pleae help me out... |

I think the only reason why a higher-flow air duct would be beneficial would be if you are adding a supercharger. Really, you will not xexperience any performance gain with a new air bridge. Get a CAI system, first. It'll definitely give you a boost.

so CAI is an air-intake system
i got a vararam on my vette :) anyway thanks what I need is this part: http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/p-1...uct-black.aspx but which one to chose the 1997-2000 or 2001-2004? i'll add supercharge , i think magna will be my choice |

There are two connections that are important when considering which one to buy:
1. The throttlebody connection to smooth coupler and 2. The MAF coupling. If your OEM airbridge fits now (after the intake swap), then you should buy the 97-00 airbridge. Its MAF opening is smaller to match your MAF. Dave |

That's a MAF, alright, but you really don't need that. If your OEM airbridge fits your throttlebody, then the 97-00 aftermarket airbridge should fit.
