? re: rev limiters and shifting points

Hi Everyone!
I will be receiving my Hypertech Programmer in a few days and was wondering if anyone knows what I should input for the rev limiters and shifting points. I have an '04 C5, auto tranny, with a full system/cat-back exhaust system. I understand Hypertech makes some suggestions in their instructions, but was wondering if anyone who has alreay done this to their vette can make some suggestions. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Take care, stay safe.
RJ

Hi Rita, I just came across this forum tonight so it's first chance to post, I see you allready ordered you Hypertech Programmer , let us know how you like it, from all the things I've read about handheld programmers, the Hypertech Programmer isn't most peoples favorite,I've heard more negatives than positives with it, I've heard a lot more positive things from the Predator, Crane, and superchips, but good luck I hope all works out for you and keep us posted, thanks Ozzie

Hi Ozzie,
I sure will let everyone know . . . wish I had heard more about the other models before buying this one. A mechanic I know recommended it. Stay tune and I'll let you all know.

Welcome to the Forum. It is a great place filled with incredible people! :)

hey... do they make one of them doomajiggers for C4 L98's? mine could use a little tweakin' to the thingamabob in the ECM thingy. I would just hate to get it all outa hoozy though and muck up the works. are they easy for us halfwitt's to use too.

With the L98's they dont use a programmer, they use a chip that you can put in, hope that helps, Ozzie

I looked at real fast and may have missed them, but I think the predator, and super chips might only deal with hand held programmers, but here is Jet Performance chip site for you, you may want to double check with the other companies
