removed front bolts. now have creeking noise

recently lowered the rear on stock bolts. and fully removed the bolt on the front. now going over speed bumps and turning it creeks. anyone else have this problem. im going to place a heavy duty thin piece of rubber under the leaf spring to keep frm rubbing a arm without protection. any other ideas might be better?

Well, first, give some data. Where is the creeking coming from, front or back? Does it happen only at low speeds, or high? Only with the wheel cranked way over? etc.

Probably you just lowered it too much. Not sure it is wise to remove the front bolts completely, by the way.

RE: removed front bolts. now have creeking noise

I raised my back and front after the previous owner lowered it. It was to low for me at my advanced age. When he lowered it he cut off the pads on the bottom of the front bolts. The front end squeaked big time. Icut two pieces of heavy duty conveyor belt and placed them under the bottoms of the bolts, instant quiet. I think you have the same problem I had, bare metal rubbing on bar metal. Hope this helps. I agree with Lee, I would have left the bolts in.
