Squeek in Front Suspension
I have a 2000 conv. with 73K miles. The car has never been on a track or abused in any way. It hasn't been driven on dirt or gravel roads or in dusty conditions either.
Recently, after the weather cooled off, I have noticed a squeek in the front suspension. After the car warms up the squeek disappears. Is the a common problem? Are the ball joints shot or is it the cold rubber suspension bushings squeeking? If it is the rubber, can silicon spray be used to lubricate them? |

Maybe just a pulley drive belt? cjs

RE: Squeek in Front Suspension
It may be your sway bar bushings. I have a '99 w/ 73k and just replaced the front / rear sway bar bushings and it took care of my "little sqeaks". The OEM bushings get dry and will sqeak.

RE: Squeek in Front Suspension
Had the same "squeeks" every time I drove through the twisties on the way to the coast...had ALL the bushings replaced with Energy Suspension bushings under warranty (before it ran out *pheew*)...NO MORE SQUEEKS...[8D]
