which tires would you recommed for high comfort and low road noise? what are the best options? thanks.

Avon M500's or Avon M550's. I run them and love them. You can get them at www.tirerack.com . They are nice and quiet and offer superior grip.

I have Nitto NT555 on mine and they have a nice ride.
