Your Opinion...C5R spoiler or no spoiler?
 

I've been thinking about adding the C5R rear wing spoiler on my vette. If I were to do it I would paint it black like the rest of the car. Your thoughts?

I just don't care for the way it looks. I think it takes away from the overall appearance of the car. Very distracting.

I agree with Rich. I do not like the spoiler [sm=badidea.gif] To me, it seems to cheapen the looks of your gorgeous vette.

Dude, you've got a Beautiful car!!! That "wing thing" just wouldn't look right. Mybe a different style that is more in flow with the contures of your Vette.

No. I have the engine, suspension, and a lot of bits and pieces in my car, but no spoiler like that. Looks ugly to me.

If you want a wing that big, go buy a Honda, and slap it on that thing. Leave the Vette alone, she is sweet the way she sits.

I agree, NO WING, Your vette has nice smooth clean lines the way it is now. That things not a wing it's a plane.

If it saved .01 seconds off your last et, I might say yes. Otherwise it just adds wieght and may let that Porsche pass you :D I would spend the money on some other bolt on that guarentees a faster/better handeling car.

I think the spoiler is bad ass. Getting one for my C5 soon . The bottom line is dude, it's what you like. It's your expression.Don't mind bolting that bad boy to my 620hp C5 , gotta keep that ass down at those high speeds. And I don't give a rat's ass what all the pencil necks think. It's all about power and speed.

I'm going to have to agree with pay. My neck size is 17 and I don't care for the wing. There are, sadly, other parts of my body that resemble a pencil....

The back end of the C5 is the nicest of any car. Don't mess that up... I can't even put tail light covers on my 99. Every car I have owned has not looked stock except for my vette, because I can't think of anything that will make it look better except for lambo doors that I am saving up for but that doesn't really change anything on it.

Don't put it on there unless you are going to put the widebody, front air splitter, rear air diffuser, and the stickers.
Now, this is the "spoiler" I want.
It's nice because it is a completely new rear fascia and it still flows with the lines becasue it is formed into the fiberglass.

I went to get my car re dynoed 3 days ago and saw a c5 z06 therethat had the full C5R spolier and hood and it look mean as hell. It also put 500 rwhp down N/A.:D

I like the wing. Go for it. Its your car. Stock cars are boring in my opinion.
