2007 lingenferter

How do you tell if your vette you just bought is an actual lingenferter? This car doesnt seem like it has 500 horsepower.

It's Lingenfelter I believe you are referring to.
It could have their exhaust tips or it could be a built motor.
I suggest you contact them with your vin?
I think it's LPE.com
