Maybe BFG has a drag radial that will fit, although the reason I went with 18" on the rear of my car is because I could run their 18" 345 drag radial.

420 RWHP - what mods do you have?

I already searched for BFG tires, they don't have the same sizes ! these are the best two sizes i found (P275/35R18/LL) (P295/35R18/LL) . which one is the best ? and what are the problems that i might encounter if i installed these sizes ?

It's a combination of MTI and LINGENFELTER mods ;)

Your need to pick one with the corect rolling diameter.

Neither one of those is really going to do much more good on the rear, they are too much close to stock width. With 420 RWHP (about 70 more than stock, you need something like a 205 drag radial.

What Lingenfelter and MTI mods? 70 RWHP over stock means at least headers, cam, etc. I'm curious what you have and how its worked out. I've bought a lot from both over the years (particularly Lingenfelter - double of engines worth actually). .

You can call the tirerack and they have pretty knowledgeable people who could help you with whatever is the best option to fit your stock wheels. I doubt anything more than a 305, maybe a 315 if you are lucky, will fit. You can go to their website and nose around yourself, under "specifications" (sort of to the right at the top when you are looking at a tire in detail) they give you the rolling diameter so you can compare your stock size to other options yourself.

You could call Lingenfelter and ask about optimum wheel/tire combinations. The only really good tires I know for powerful vettes are 18" at the rear - the Michelin 345s or the 345 BFG drag radials I am running, Lingenfelter must know something that works well on 19" wheels: I doubt they donwnsize their C6s to 18 inch wheels so they can fit the Michelins or the BFGs so there must be something good they use in 19" on their 650 HP cars, etc. I've heard there is a good 19" 335 tire out there although I can't remember who sells it (tire rack would know). But Lingenfelter will probably recommend wider wheels and their mini-tubbing kit so you can run really wide rubber at the rear - ths tock wheels can't take more than 20 mm wider or so.
