I used to have C2s when I was younger. Always 4 speeds and I like them loud. Now I am an old fart and looking for an auto to cruise around.
I think you want to find a car that has been taken care of and not raced on weekends. I like the coupes because they remind me of the old '65. A coupe seals up better and is a stronger body configuration.
Any performance options help hold the value of the car. Some colors are worth more than others. Around here we like California cars with minimal rust.

It all boils down to want you like. Go drive some cars and figure it out.

Ok, so I jumped into the pool today. I bought a Black on Black 2013 C6 2LT today. It's got 61K on the clock and seems to have been a single owner car according to the Carfax report. I purchased from a real Toyota dealer that had taken it on on trade. I almost walked as there was an aftermarket stereo installed and that's a red flag mod for me as I used to work in that business and I know how many hack shops there are. I then end, I looked at the install quality and components used, which were all top shelf. It was clear that the original (one owner car) was pretty meticulous in his upgrades and maintenance. He seems to have added the 60th badges which I don't think were available on a 2LT trim package, but look pretty cool.

Driving it home from the dealership, I kept thinking of roads that I could take that would be more interesting than the freeways I generally travel in my Honda Pilot for work. I ended up hopping off the 118 freeway and taking the Santa Susana Pass Road back into Simi Valley. The Pass Road is a lot of fun with some chicanes, sweepers and a couple of pucker inducing decreasing radius turns that can suck you into too fast if you're not familiar with the road. The C6 ran through those old familiar curves like it was born for it! I haven't had that much fun since I went over those same roads on a Honda Interceptor many years ago.

I've been driving SUVS exclusively for nearly 25 years. This car will open a whole new chapter in my automotive life. I'm looking forward to it!

Looks nice! If you got it within your budget, then you got a good deal. Saw a 2013 roadster at my Carmax for $33K but don't know the miles.
