wind deflector screen
 

Anyone have any experience with the official Corvette windscreen/deflector installed on a C6?
I bought one from the C dealer for Christmas - the parts guy said it just pops in - but when we received it found out there's a great deal more involved with the installation.
I'm not mechanically inclined and my dealer's service dept. has never installed one - I don't want my car to be their test!
Concerns - how secure is the mounting - will it vibrate or rattle?
Also, when the top is down and you choose not to put the screen in - can you see the clips?

I would say have the service department go ahead and install it. Atleast they are responsible for it if something goes wrong.
Hopefully someone else can answer you othr questions regarding the fit.

Although the dealer has never installed one, it shouldn't pose a challenge to them as it should come with clear and concise instructions for them to follow. And if you don't feel comfortable with them doing it, then you might want to call around to some other local dealers and find one that has installed a few. Either way good luck and let us know what happens.[/align]
