I think what you may be looking at is a Z06 Corvette which should have a small hood scoop and rear brake cooling scoops in front of the rear wheels behind the door. There should also be a Z06 emblem on the front fenders behind the wheels.
There are other changes such as the rear of the body is about 3.3" wider and it uses real carbon fiber front fenders and wheel houses. It also has larger brake rotors and calipers and suspension upgrades. The LS7 7.0-liter small block puts out 505 HP and 470 lb-ft of torque. It has a 7,000 RPM redline.
It would be interesting if you can post a picture of the ZL505 badging. Also pictures of the exterior of the car might help.
Since a small percentage of the 2008 to 2011 LS7 engines had a minor valve guide problem caused by a machining error, and you cannot ascertain if this has been repaired under warranty, it would be wise to purchase and extended warranty. It is very expensive to repair the damage caused by a dropped valve if it hasn't been already done.

It definitely ha ZL 500hp with small lettering to the right of the ZL saying SLP

Here's all I could find Chevy Corvette C6 SLP ZL465 Kit - GM High-Tech Performance Magazine and it's almost 12 years old. Probably by now they have raised it to 500 or 505. Although the SLP website didn't mention anything about it. So maybe they got of that business.
