Service Active Handling Light

I have a 2005 C6 Coupe with 37,000 miles. I've had occassional times when the message: Service Active Handling and the Service Light has come on and off!
You can shut the car off and turn back on and drive it normally for miles with no issue and then it will just come on! Any help here is appreciated! I've had the car
to my local garage, a lifetime corvette guy and he's run the computer diagnostic and everything is ok!

Welcome to the forum. It could be something as simple as a faulty connection somewhere, bad ground, or an intermittent sensor. Intermittent problems like this are always tough to diagnose. You might check to see if there is some type of data recorder your mechanic could hook up to it and leave it while you drive until the message comes up again.

I had the exact same symptoms for a year or so on my 2008, but I may have found the problem. 73shark may be right.

After replacing all 4 wheel bearing/speed sensors, three months later thosemessages returned with a vengance!!

So a few minutes ago, I replaced both speed sensor jumper wires (they complete the last 20 inches out the sensors. Something to try...) Well, when plugging up the right front inboard connector, I noticed the lead-to wire wasn't routed properly and, over time, I believe a short developed from rubbing on the metal frame.

Stay tuned...
