Brake Booster Squeak
 

I continue to have a rubber type of squeak when applying the brake pedal. It comes and goes. Sounds like the rubber boot is dry and makes the squeaking sound as the rod moves back and forth. Local dealer says it can not be lubed and the entire booster assembly must be replaced. They replaced it once while it was in warranty about a year ago. Any suggestions on getting rid of the noise without spending big bucks to replace the assembly would be greatly appreciated. It drives me about as crazy as the squeaking and rattling top. :(
