Cruise Control help

Stock 90 Coupe: Went to Flagstaff in June. Used cc out and back. Parked car untill last week when we went to Effingham Funfest. ( Elvis is alive, he justuses a new name!!! ) Cruise would not work. Once there I checked the fuse andall the vac. lines I could get to ( notbehind the inst. panel ). Talked to a Calloway mechanic. He said vac. canister probably NOT the problem. Anyone had this issue before? Need some ideas please. Thanks, jack

RE: Cruise Control help

Had the same problem with my '87. It was a vacuum line to the pot up by the drivers side headlight that had become loose and was split by the headlight going up and down. Was a PITA to find. Not much help but it's all I've got. Good luck with it. Cheers

RE: Cruise Control help

Another thing I found on mine that may have contributed is the heater valve was shot and the diaphragm inside was leaking vacuum. so many places so little time. Good luck with it. Cheers
