Fuses on 84
Hi,
I had some electrical problems that were fixed, which included the courtesy lights not working and the radio not working. Got those working by an awesome mechanic, but all of a sudden, the radio stopped working (no power at all) and the courtesy lights don't work. I was thinking it was a fuse issue. So question #1 is which fuse in the fuse box is the radio?? Is it the RDO 10 amp? If that's it, I changed it and it still doesn't work. Another thing is that I have wires hanging under the passenger side "console" (not sure whatcha call it - in the picture below, I am talking about the area right under that big black thing sticking out on the passenger side - lol) and I pushed the "console" back up, so could I have maybe knocked something out of wack? Does anybody know if the radio wires would be under there? Thanks, Laura |

ORIGINAL: vetteemo (not sure whatcha call it - in the picture below, I am talking about the area right under that big black thing sticking out on the passenger side - lol) Fuse, my guess. I would look at all fuses. Sometimes if someone did any sound producing alterations, they might take a hot lead off of another sourse. I'm thinking the radio fuse, says "radio". Hope this helps. |

Well, I didn't see anything that said radio - gonna go check now again- do you have any idea on the amps a radio fuse is?

RE: Fuses on 84
I'm thinkin' 15 or 20 on the fuse.

I did have a blown 15 fuse, but don't have one to replace it, so will pick up one tomorrow, hopefully that's it. Thanks
