I can't get into my '07 Vette?!?!?

I live in MD and the frigid temps have killed my battery. I can not get into my car. I tried to open the trunk with the key to get to the pull-cord to open the door, but the trunk will not un-latch. The key turns, but I do not hear anything releasing the trunk latch and I've tried (as much as I can without doing damage) to both bang with my hand around the latch (hoping that might loosen up stuff) or to pry the trunk open while having the key turned. NO USE. I thought maybe the trunk was frozen, but temps today were 60 degrees. That would have thawed out if frozen.

If I can get the hood open without getting into the car to replace the battery, that would also help... as that's what I ultimately need to do.

PLEASE tell me that there is another trick that I do not know about. Thank you all.
