New C6 seats

I wasn't sure where to post this one as its not really a tech problem , but I would be very interested in changing out my ebony seats for the two tone ebony/titanium.My 2007 is triple black and I think it needs a touch of another color. I would really like black/red seats but since thats not a dealer option I wasn't sure how good the aftermarket stuff is. Also I wouldn't want to cause a problem with the seats not fitting/working right just to get a dab of color. Then I saw some decent looking seat covers but wasn't sure of how it would look or feel. I don't want it to look cheap. Any sugestions would be apreciated.

Take it to your local upholstery shop, or a customization shop that does interior work. Taking off the seat covers, splitting a couple seams, copying the panels on to new material and then sewing them back together is fairly common these days. Check out Unique Autosports (Unique Whips) on speed-tv... I think they do seat inserts and piping on almost every car they work on these days.

That's funny you mention mid-america because I just ordered their catalogue, but I have a feeling they will be a bit too pricy. I never thought of just replacing the leatherusing alocal upholstery shop, thanks for the idea bill. Does anyone know of a good car interior shop in my neck of the woods ?Pittsburgh, Pa.
