All I can say is, read your warrenty and call your dealer.

Don't really see why it would void the warranty, but the dealer would know best

The Owner's Manual in the glove box clearly states :
"any aftermarket mods VOIDS the warranty.

The warranty may say this but manufacturers (and courts) never apply it that broadly. If they did, even changing to aftermarket wheels would void the warranty.

A common sense test usually applies -- did the mod cause the failure? Modify the engine and warranty on the entire drivetrain is pretty well shot: a dealer might argue that a more powerful engine overstressed the entire drivetrain and led to, say, a rear differential gasket failing (this is a stretch, but that's how they seem to play it). But they would still normally replace an interior door handle that fell off or a headlight motor that broke. I have personally seen warranty work on brakes done on a car with headers and an aftermarket exhaust, installed on it.

But a body kit?I would think you'd beokay if you install it well and the installation does not damage anything on the car. If the dealer is an ass about honoring the future warranty because of it, the owner will generally win when submitting it to arbitration or going to court, both because it's hard to explain how a aero kit could, say, causethat rear differential gasket to fail or an interior door handle to fall off, etc., and because dealers themselves offer body kits as dealer-installed options and warrant the car afterwards.

Lee,
Awesome response on the guy with the Body Kit question.
I must admit, your knowledge is quite impressive.:)
