There a a few sponcers that offerrack & pinion steering, Which one is best is anyones guess they all claim to be the best, I use the stock steering on the slow hole on my C-3 and it works fine for me. Are you considering some type of compition driving? If so ask them what they use. PG

Hi Dave, your '80 is probably like my '78, only one hole in the spindle mounted steering arms, prior to standard power steering there were two holes where you could change the location of the tie rod ends and make the steering ratio quicker, hence "fast or slow" hole. Come on, get to wrenhin' on that thing, don't let a little powdered sunshine stop ya.

I'll have to get out my hip waders, in order to deal with the mud. [&o]

I'll have to look for those holes. I too, am concidering rack and pinion steering.
