RE: Temp sensor?

Low catalyst efficiency codes come about by the ECM monitor pre and post O2 sensor readings. If the O2's after your cats are mirroring the readings from the front cats, then the ECM sets the codes. It is difficult to watch O2 voltage readings to tell if they are mirroring each other. The way we do it is to use either a Tech2 scanner that can graph the voltages or either a lab scope. Since you probably have neither, if your temp sensor doesn't correct the problem, you might have damaged converters. [:o]

RE: Temp sensor?

I talked toRocky Mountain Corvetteabout it and they didn't seem to concerned. Also my temp problem wasnt my thermostat or my sensor. My DUMB A didn't check my coolant level. I was way low on coolant. I didn't have a coolant leak in any of the lineseither, one of the bolts on my overflow res was mssing and caused a lot of my coolant to spill out.[:@]It only ran me an hours worth of labor so thats not to bad. Anyone want to buy a 160 degree thermo? :D
