Transporting non-running auto across country
 

I was wondering if anyone knew the best and most reputable way to transport a vehicle that isnt running anymore across the country? From Indiana to New Mexico to be exact. One option i know is to just drive out there, load up, and drive back, but with gas prices as they are these days i was wondering if there was a cheaper way?

I don't have the names of any companies, but they will load your car on an auto transport and deliver where you want it. It may come by way of Utah and take about two weeks. I understand it costs about $1000. Personally, I'd go get it and make a vacation out of it. That's what I did when I went to get my Starship. Took a week and took my time. Did some sight seein' along the way.

These folks shipped my Vette from NJ to WV, no problems, and they even have realtime GPS tracking of your shipment. :)

These folks shipped my Bricklin from Michigan to VA. No problems with them either, and the Bricklin was in pretty sad shape (no brakes, no emergency brake, and most of the body duct taped on:
