Blue 2000 Coupe
My first ride in a Corvette was my uncle's 1967 Blue Convertable about 1969 or 1970 when I was a little kid. What an awesome automobile. Years later I brought a 1967 Chevelle with a 402 Big Block but had to sell it in 1987. Anyway more years went by, kids, mortgage, etc. In 2004, I started looking for a Corvette C4 or C5. Something I needed after turning 40. I saw a Blue 2000 Coupe in Auto-Trader in the Fall of 2000. Couldn't buy it then, but after the holidays it was still for sale. At the end of Febraury 2005 I drove out to see it. As soon as I turned the corner and saw it in the driveway I knew it was mine. Now 2 years later, I still can't wait to take it out for a drive. I had a nice drive in it after work today with the removable top off. Man, what an awesome automoblie.

RE: Blue 2000 Coupe
Welcome to CF! :)
I waited 46 yrs to get mine, a Black on Black, 1980 L82. We got it bad Bro, and there is no cure. (to quote a bud, from the Great Up North) "Only regular bowtie injections will keep away the shakes." :D |
RE: Blue 2000 Coupe

RE: Blue 2000 Coupe
Welcome. I had to wait many years, too, but it's worth it.

Hmmmm, let's see. I'm 60 and JUST got mine last week.
Sometimes it takes a while but it's worth the wait. What a great car, truly. It's red and it's MINE. Jim |
