I have a 98 Corvette coupe. Just recently the grill cover on the AC temp. sensor in the dash next to the ignition broke off. I ordered a new one. The problem is when I started the car after picking the small cover off the floormat the "check Engine" light came on. Not sure if this is related to the sensor or if its another issue. I understand the sensor itself is no longer available thru GM. Anyone know who may still sell this part in case I need one ? Meanwhile Ill be having someone check to see why the engine light came on. I don't think it's because the grill is off the sensor but not sure. Anyone have a clue I'd appreciate it.
